Accomodation

The ground floor of Briallen comprises an open plan dining/kitchen area leading to a lounge with original character stone wall exposed which boasts lovely oak furnishings.
The lounge is furnished with 2 comfortable two seater sofas and equipped with Freeview TV, DVD player and hifi.


Free dedicated WiFi for Briallen.

The well-equipped kitchen has and electric oven and hobb, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine

The dining room has seating for 4 and a highchair is available on request.

The bathroom (Downstairs) provides a spacious power shower unit, toilet and heated wash hand basin with heated towel rail.

Stairs from the dining area lead to the upstairs king-size galleried bedroom

A rear stable door leads from the lounge to the outside enclosed patio and garden area with garden furniture barbecue and clothesline. A private Hot Tub is provided for your personal use.

The cottage has full oil central heating and all fuel for heating and cooking is included in the price.

All bed linen and towels are included for your comfort - including Hot tub towels - Please bring your own beach towels. 

There is ample off-road parking for 2 cars

How to Find us

Ffrwd ganol, Llanrhystud, Nr Aberystwyth SY23 5ED


Due to the rural location it is advisable to print off directions as most Sat Navs get lost in the last half mile.


From the North at Aberystwyth, take the A487 coast road heading South to Llanrhystud (9 miles). In llanrhystud turn left by the Post Office onto B4337, continue out of the village and all the way up the hill (approx. 1 mile) you will see the 50 mile and hour speed sign, takr the right turning just before (narrow lane). Proceed a short distance then bear to your left,(don’t carry on to the farm facing you) continue to the bottom of the lane, Ffrwd Ganol cottages are to your right.

From the South West at Cardigan, take the A487 coast road heading North through Aberaeron until the village of Llanrhystud, turn right onto B4337 and continue as above.

From the South East at Carmarthen, take the A485 to Lampeter, then A482 towards Aberaeron, after a few miles turn right onto B4337 in the direction of Llanrhystud, continue for approximately 10miles, Pass through Cross inn and Nebo. Continue and pass Fantasy Farm and Islwyn Garage on your left, shortly after you will see the national speed limit, turn left just past this and continue down lane as above

Rates vary between £510 and £750 per week depending on season

Sort breaks have a calculated discount.

Dogs are charged at £20 per stay per dog. 

Non refundable deposits are payable upon booking to secure the dates and holiday balances are payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. 

Payments can be made direct to the owner by bank transfer or cheque.
